From the 9th to the 16th, our group had an incredible opportunity to embark on a journey to Iran, specifically from Tehran to Shiraz. It’s an exciting experience full of meaningful encounters, delightful views and unforgettable memories. With the support and enthusiasm of our Iranian clients and the guidance of a handsome passer-by brother, our trip was nothing short of remarkable.
As a company specializing in the manufacture and distribution of a wide range of composite products, we believe in the importance of maintaining strong relationships with our customers. Therefore, visiting Iranian customers is an important part of our business strategy. Our goal is to better understand their needs and ensure our products meet their expectations.
The journey starts in Tehran where we start visiting various factories and shops. At times, the schedule was tight, with as many as four clients meeting in a day. However, we took on this challenge because we know these face-to-face interactions are critical to building trust and gaining insight into our customers’ pain points.
One of the highlights of our trip was visiting a factory that specializes in pipe winding. We took a detailed tour of their facility and were privileged to witness the exceptional craftsmanship involved in the process. The expertise and dedication of the workers was truly amazing and it gave us a new perspective on the material we were delivering to them.
Another rewarding experience was our visit to a store that specializes in duct tape. We had the opportunity to speak directly with store owners about the specific challenges they face in the industry. This first-hand knowledge allows us to tailor our products to their needs, ensuring we provide them with effective and efficient solutions.
Throughout the journey, we were able to explore diverse applications for our products. From aluminum foil composites to paper bags with windows, our fiberglass laid scrims, polyester laid scrims and 3-way laid scrims have a place in a variety of industries. The versatility and reliability of our products is evident when we witness their applications in PVC/wood flooring, automotive, lightweight construction, packaging, construction, filters/nonwovens, and even sports equipment.
However, our travels are not just for business. We also have excellent opportunities to immerse ourselves in the rich Iranian culture. From the vibrant streets of Tehran to the historic wonders of Shiraz, every moment is a feast for the senses. We indulge in local cuisine, marvel at the stunning architecture, and learn about the fascinating history of this ancient land.
Worth mentioning is the role played by the handsome passer-by brother, who becomes our unexpected guide and friend. His enthusiasm and local knowledge added an extra layer of excitement to our trip. From recommending the best local restaurants to showing us hidden gems in the cities we visited, he went out of his way to make sure our experience in Iran was a memorable one.
